Crisis

A game anyone can log into. Now nobody can log out.

X.Borg and Octavius plan to seize Eruditio's secret Iron Sentries through Survival: Nexus, the neural VR game built by Beatrix. On the day of the season finals the players collapse into comas and their connections are routed into the machines. With the sentries marching on the city, Beatrix decides it is time for her "stunt doubles".
