Destiny Beyond the Stars

She knows everything, and has forgotten how to feel any of it.

Ten years ago, Novaria's first lecture at Eruditio opens with a simple question: what are stars? Her cold answers empty the hall until only Layla, a small student with a secret, is left. Up in the observatory, Layla asks the one question nobody else dared to.
