KZO Comics · Odette

I Am Odette (Part 2)

The heir came to rescue her people. They asked her to paint a mask.

Odette wakes in the home of an old woman whose grandson pulled her out of the lake, and the damp house, the smelly local dish and all those festivals horrify the young heir. Still in disguise, she offers to help and ends up painting a festival mask while the townsfolk tell her how greedy nobles once ruined the lake. What they say about their next lord changes how she sees the job.
