Side A
Vexana
...
Can you no longer hear my voice? Of course not... we've both been swept into the black hole.
Though we once became twin streams of light, intertwined as we soared toward the heavens...
Now, as everything fades away, perhaps I can finally speak the words I've kept locked in my heart.
"It was you who brought color to my world."
Someone as radiant as you surely knows nothing of darkness's true nature.
As empty and dark as this void... no, before I met you, my world was even darker still.
My ignorance and foolishness led to my father's sacrifice—a soldier until his final breath, dying to save me. How I wish it had been me instead!
Guilt and pain ensnared me like a web. Atonement became my only purpose; the destruction of the Enders my only reason to continue on...
Back then, I chose solitude as my companion. I dreaded the thought of losing someone again.
But that day, your arrival was like a ray of starlight piercing my dark world.
You saw me hiding in the shadows and reached out your hand without hesitation.
From the moment you chose to become my partner, my fate began to shine with newfound radiance.
In this silent darkness, even as my body begins to dissolve... memories of you remain vivid and radiant.
You took me to see the summer fireworks, to the girls' house, to the amusement park - showing me the life a young girl should have known...
You helped me feel the joy I thought I'd never deserve. Your boundless enthusiasm and courage slowly melted away my frozen heart.
The Emblem of Hope you gave me is my most treasured possession.
It reminds me that I'm not alone in this world. That someone believes in me, stands with me, and will fight by my side.
It taught me that rules exist not to bind us, but to protect what we cherish most.
It helped me understand that hope has a name—.
So as one of the Aspirants, I must do what needs to be done, even if it means standing against the world!
The Will of the Planet showed me something, a "future" you must never know.
I can't bear the thought of a world without you... I won't let you face danger, won't let you suffer again.
Even if I must stand alone against everything, even if I must shoulder all the pain.
I want to protect this world, but protecting you means even more to me—even if it means my world will never see the light of the stars again...
I don't know what fate awaits this world, or if we'll ever return to everyone.
But I know that you gave me the courage to face the darkness.
Forgive me, .
If I could go back, I would still choose the same path:
To betray you, to protect you...
This warm light... my body... I can feel it slowly recovering...
I've read about this—consciousness of the Aspirants would bloom with unprecedented brilliance within the black hole...
It would pierce through the void, reconnecting with the human world brimming with hope.
So it was all true after all.
Did we succeed in protecting this world?
Was I... able to protect you?
From Hope Comes Miracles - Side B
Guinevere
...
What's with all this doom and gloom? I can hear everything, you know!
We stopped the Matrix's invasion and saved the world! Nothing could make me prouder than that!
You should have told me these things earlier, silly. Because—
"My determination to protect you burns just as bright as my will to protect the world!"
Someone as gentle as you probably never thought I had things I couldn't say!
I came to the academy to prove something:
That I, , didn't need my father's empire to shine in the spotlight!
Even when I achieved top marks at the academy, all I got was a cold rebuke: "Stop being so stubborn and focus more on the family business!"
Turns out all my efforts meant nothing to Father. That day, I waited outside his office all day, my heart full of hope...
Let them talk! Let them say I'm just a spoiled little princess, that all my achievements are due to my father!
I couldn't care less! I'll train even harder, push myself to absolute exhaustion—I'll prove myself no matter what!
...Back then, you were the only one who stood by my side.
"You are strong, ."
That was the first thing you ever said to me, and somehow... it felt like the very first time someone saw me for me.
Remember when we first met? I was so confident about teaming up with you, but you were just so cold!
No one had ever turned down the great lady before! But you know what? I didn't mind one bit.
Because I saw the same light in your eyes as in mine—we were destined to become the most brilliant of the Aspirants!
I never knew the darkness you experienced was so deep and hopeless... but that's okay! Our memories together still shine so bright!
I took you to see the summer fireworks, to all the best girl hangout spots, to the amusement park—everything friends should experience together!
Don't you dare laugh! Before I met you, all I had for company was my security detail!
That Emblem of Hope I gave you was a gift I made with my own hands.
It reminds me that this world is worth every bit of my love. That someone truly sees me, protects me, and will fight side-by-side with me.
It helped me understand that I have more than just money to rely on—I have beliefs and hopes worth fighting for.
It taught me that hope can take a special form—.
So as one of the Aspirants, even if others don't understand, I must believe in myself and believe in you!
Once, twice, three times... I don't care how many times—I would never give up on you!
The Will of the Planet? Ha! There's nothing to be scared of! I'll snatch you right back without a second thought!
Even if I have to give up being a lady of status, even if I have to start all over again... I'll never back down!
Because I've always believed that our hope can create miracles!
Huh? Why do I suddenly feel like I'm being born again?
I remember you saying that when the Aspirant's power pierces through the black hole, we can return to the human world...
It really was true! We saved each other again!
Come back with me, .
This is the miracle we created!
